One location, two photographers

'One location, two photographers, is a super fun project, in which I go shooting and experimenting with a colleague photographer. I guess you could say it's a photo jam. :)

A couple of weeks ago, I went out to 'jam' with Kim, a super cool Canadian photographer, writer, and digital strategist. You can find her work on her website, Instagram and Facebook.

'One location, two photographers' is not only a great way to discover a new photo location, but also a nice way to get creative. Although taken at the same time and in the same location, it is always very interesting and inspiring to see how different the end results are when two photographers take pictures at the same location.

This time, we went to a location I already know, the Görlitzer Park. As I'm already familiar with this park (I'm living next to it), I gave myself an extra challenge by only taking pictures with my wide angle lens (20 mm). A wide angle lens is perfect for landscapes and architecture photography, but it gets a bit tricky when you use it for people and portraits. For me, this was very challenging, but I'm so glad Kim was willing to experiment together, and she was totally into making some 'weird' pictures. :) It was very difficult, but very inspirational at the same time! Thank you, Kim!
