One location, two photographers

'One location, two photographers' is not only a great way to discover a new photo location, but also a nice way to get creative. Although taken at the same time and in the same location, it is always very interesting and inspiring to see how different the end results are when two photographers take pictures at the same location.

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Gleisdreieck Park with Ana. Ana is an amazing photographer, who makes beautiful and magical pictures. Ana is a documentary photographer, and works with people and companies that share her values about environment, art & culture, social good and education. You can find her inspirational work on her website and Instagram.

For this 'One location, two photographers' -session, I challenged myself extra by making portraits with the Brenizer method. The Brenizer method is named after the NYC wedding photographer Ryan Brenizer and is a photographic technique which allows you to have a very wide image with a very shallow depth of field. It's actually the same as making a panorama picture of a landscape, but focussing on a person instead of an environment.

Unlike the previous #onelocationtwophotographers, the one with Kim, where I only used my wide angle lens, I now only used an 85mm telephoto lens.

Each photo, consists of a combination of three to five images, which are merged in Lightroom into one final image.

Thank you for being such a beautiful (and patient!) model, Ana!
